I’m putting together a mindset training + workbook and here’s one of the teaching points that I share… 

Make a commitment and stick to it. It is normal for self-doubt to creep in, it’s how you deal with it. By staying motivated and focusing on the journey you’ll be more inclined to stay the route of your journey.

Turn that self-down into determination so that you can reach your weight loss and wellness goals, no matter what obstacles you are faced with.

I’m definitely a morning person, and love getting my day started early.

If you’re wondering how I get my day off to a healthy start, here’s a peek into my morning routine!

I usually kick it off with some type of activity - I’ve been switching it up a bit and allowing my body more time to rest and recover (much needed).

After I work out, I do a little reading - lately it is @shereadstruth
Next, I check work emails and respond to questions and inquiries.

After getting ready for the day I make breakfast for the fam and try to enjoy some fresh lemon water or tea. @wayofbeing.co Here & Now is delightful for kicking off the morning with the right tone.

I see too many people sacrificing their health bec I see too many people sacrificing their health because “it’s too much effort”,
or “it costs too much”, 
yet they spend their money on material items or things that they can’t truly enjoy because they don’t feel well enough for it to be enjoyable, and can’t be present.

Don’t be surprised when you feel worse because you didn’t make a change when you first noticed 
your energy decline,
your brain fog get worse,
couldn’t enjoy a meal with your family,
had to miss an event because you didn’t feel up to going.

How long are you going to live in discomfort or pain before you decide enough is enough?

Whatever bug I caught came on fast, and of course during a busy week when I had to reschedule calls. 😑

I love to workout on vacation, whether it’s outs I love to workout on vacation, whether it’s outside or checking out a fitness facility.

Today I warmed up with a 10 minute body weight @onepeloton workout consisting of mostly push-ups and squats/lunges, followed by a 5 min core then finished off with resistance bands.

My 8 year old wanted Shepherd’s Pie, so I prepared it during lunchtime since I needed it ready after soccer practice.

Her and my 5 yr old devoured almost 2 plates full! 😳

Lentils are great for combatting cholesterol, 
heart health and preventing cancer!
